About CTET:

CTET means Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Central Board of Secondary Education to held Central Teacher Eligibility Test for entrancing candidate’s ability and eligibility for selection as a teachers for class 1 to 8 in Central Government schools. CTET exam will be conducted for two parts –a. CTET Primary exam for Class 1 to 8 and b. CTET Elementary exam for Class 6 to 8.CTET will as main eligibility criteria in teacher employment process. The CTET will be taken two times in the years in the month of February and September. CTPT Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who want to apply for CTET Primary and Elementary exam must have below given eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must be Indian citizen.
  1. CTPT Primary exam for class 1 to 5 qualification:
  • Senior Secondary with 45% marks and passed /appearing in final years 2 years diploma in Elementary education in agreement with the recognition norms and procedure(NCTE)
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final years 2 years diploma in Elementary education
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final years of 4 year Bachelor of B.El.ed (Elementary education )
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final years of 2 years diploma in education.
  1. CTET Elementary exam for class 6 to 8 qualification:
  • Graduation with 45% marks and passed/appearing in 1 years and (B.ED)Bachelor in Education with the NCTE
  • Graduation and passed/appearing in final year and 2 years diploma in Elementary Education with 50% marks and passed/appearing in 1 year bachelor in education
  • Graduation with 50% marks and passed/appearing in 1 year B.ed.
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final years of 4years Bachelor in (B.El.Ed)Elementary Education
  • Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

             CTPT Application fees:

Candidates who want apply for CTET Exam must pay application fee by online mode application:

  • Paper I and II :
  1. for General and OBC category candidates application fees are Rs.600/-
  2. for Reserved category(SC/ST/PHD) candidates application fees are Rs.300/-
  • paper I and II:
  1. for General and OBC category candidates application fees are Rs. 1000/-
  2. for Reserved category(SC/ST/PHD) candidates application fees are Rs.500/-

CTET Application form:

Candidates who apply for the CTET exam must fill up application. For this candidates have to follow the given steps:

  • Firstly, interested candidates visit the official website.
  • Then fine and click the CTET exam form.
  • And fill up the details and pay the application fee via credit/debit/bank challan/net banking.
  • At least take a print out copy of application form for your future use.
